Great idea Rick! ;)

I'll be happy to list some of my favorite parts suppliers to get this section moving along!

QUADRATEC: www.quadratec.com
I have purchased numerous new parts for my YJ from Quadratec over the past 7 years. All of my experiences have been positive. The customer service folks are very helpful and most of them are Jeep folks. Delivery is usually very fast. I even had to return a part that the manufacturer packaged wrong a couple of weeks ago and customer service had the correct part to me in 2 days!

kNOw Where 2 Jeep: www.knowwhere2jeep.com
I purchased my YJ lift kit and various other items for the YJ and JK from Eric at kNOw where 2 Jeep. Great personal customer service and fast delivery! Very competitive pricing.

Walck's 4WD: www.walcks4wd.com
I've purchased numerous parts for my Willys Jeep restoration from Walck's. They make awesome repro wiring harnesses and stock some hard to find parts for the early Willys Jeeps. Knowledgeable staff and fast delivery!

All 3 of the suppliers listed above are located here in Pennsylvania, the first 2 support our Annual Jeep Show!  ;D

Matt has purchased several items from Quadratec....they are knowledgeable, helpful, and super speedy!!!!  Matt helped out at the Quadratec tent sale last year and had a good time.  Glad to support businesses that support our annual Jeep Show!!!

Ordered F&R shackles and sport bar grab handles for my YJ - the stuff arrived ahead of schedule and was exactly what I'd hoped it to be - I'm very impressed.

I recently ordered a D-ring shackle assembly for my rear receiver.  They sent it to me in a timely fashion, but when I got it, the D-ring didn't fit around the hitch pin, nor did the hitch pin fit into my receiver!  I have a standard 2" receiver, so that wasn't the problem.  Both parts that they sent me were badly forged, with a huge seam of extra material running up the top and bottom of the hitch as well as on both insides of the D-ring.

I didn't feel like paying to ship it back and wait for another one, so both parts spent some serious time on the bench grinder until they fit each other and my Jeep.  Of course, with all the grinding, I now had to spray paint the parts so that they wouldn't rust!

I called Quadratec to tell them about the problem.  I urged them to go into the warehouse and check the other ones, because if mine was bad, who knows how many others were, too?  The man I spoke to assured me that he would do this himself, immediately.

Today, I checked the site, and lo and behold, the cheap hitch that I bought is now no longer offered for sale.   (You get what you pay for, I guess  :P). I just wanted to save them a lot of grief in case someone *not as nice as me* would buy one and have a cow about it.

I'd buy from them again, of course.  Next time, it'll be something in a brand that I've heard of!  ;)

I am not happy that I was just denied the "PA Jeeps Discount" last night. >:( I called to order a Cat Back YJ exhaust system. My name is definitely in their system, but I was told there "was no discount" for me. Y'all know I love Quadratec, but the "Discount" we have promoted to help with getting new members isn't going to help if it doesn't even apply to the "old" members.

Anyone know if this discount program has been discontinued? ??? I sure would like to know, so I don't tell anyone else that it's a benefit when you join PA Jeeps!

I always get discount of at least 10% from 4WD.com and no sales tax, even free shipping on bigger orders and I don't have to be on some list. I like quadatec they are very helpful and I have spent more $ there then I would ever admit, but only use them when I need something in a couple of days.

Thanks Rick! I knew we could count on you.  ;)

I don't like to tell folks something (discount) and then find out it's not true. Hopefully you can get this cleared up!
