Title: Tj 2002 with hurst 5 speed

2002 TJ 4.0 I bought used,
came with a hurst 5 speed bolted to the NV3550.

Synchro mesh is being thrown up the shifter boot,
running down behind
passenger and drivers side carpet.

Vent tube was loose, tightened up, but still throwing up fluid.

Any suggestions?

Two questions
Is it over full?
Is the vent tube clogged?

Tube is good, not over filled.

Maye leak in front seal and oil getting thrown up shift tower.

I hear there is a vent tube on passenger side of shift tower
that should be checked as well.
