Title: harmonic balnacer hitting water pump

I just got my rebuilt motor.  I bolted it all in and when i tried to install the harmonic balbancer it wont go on it is hitting the bottow of the water pump any ideas?

what kind of motor? jeep show is this weekend you could stop by and check out the other jeeps for ideas.

y aill be there i was hoping to have my jeep there but not gonna happen it is a 360

ok looks like i got it fixed.  I pulled the water pump and installed the harmonic balancer.  There is about a 1/8 of an inch of clearance between the timing cover and the balancer.  But the ones I saw today at the PA Jeep show looked really close too.  Then I clearanced the pump a little and test fit it.  It doesnt rub at all so just need to get a new gasket and put it all back together.  Then just pray it starts up and nothing leaks. fingers crossed.
