the wifes xj has one heck of a shake. if your going about 35 or 45 mph, then hit a bump in the road the jeep shake like a death wobble but 20 times worse. anyone have an idea what is going on with it.
-
trac bar or steering stabilizer would be a first guess but it sounds like something suspension.
-
that might be it cause when you hit a bump on the passanger side it does it. but when you hit a bump on the drivers side it doesn't go wishy washy. so it maybe one of those two things. so i guess i will start there.

Don't forget to check the front end alignment, bad tie rod end, bent tie rod, etc. Death wobble is scary (not you Angie)... been there, done that, don't want to go there again! :o

Stabilizer!! I just went through this on mine.
-
thanks everyone will be checking it out today.

WELL THE STABILIZER MAKES IT ALITTLE BETTER. JUST NEED TO UPGRADE TO NEW SHOCKS
-
the stabilzer works alot better now. but now when we drive it when we turn left or right there is a loud crunch or clunking noise coming from the frt. end.
-
sounds like a tie rod or ball joint.
