Just Got a Jeep YJ, details in signature line, installed a lift lift, mud tires and a tow hook after fixing all the maintenance items the previous owner neglected. I am looking for some easy trails in York that I could hit to see how it does offload. I heard there is trails rd and saginaw but I do not know where they are at? Are they legal? Any other options?

I plan on attending this event. Do I have to register to go on the course or can spectators drive the course?
-
You need to register to go on the course and bring your Jeep into the show ground. Look forward to seeing you at the show.
-
Which day would be better for getting time on the course? It looks like there is less going on on Sunday. See you there!
-
Yes, the majority of the activies take place on Saturday. Sunday is more or less a "hang-out" day. The vendors are still open for business and the course is open for 7 hours of enjoyment.
Then at 3 PM we have the awards ceremony followed up with the HUGE event ending raffle of merchandise which exceed's $10,000.00 in value.
-
Will there be non-show Jeeps in the event? My Jeep is no show jeep but I'd like to do the course so I am going to register.

ONE MORE TIME .
SEE YOU ALL SOON !
Hay gpotts200 , very nice newest photo of your Jeep , looks sharp !

Hay gpotts200 , very nice newest photo of your Jeep , looks sharp !
Thanks for the compliment on the jeep, it is a 20 footer. I have a lot of little things to fix up on it yet. See you at the show.
-
hello gpotts200,
latest photo looks even better yet !!!!!!
bet it would look real cool sitting up on those rocks behind your Jeep .
just tell the cops you put it in reverse instead of forward , (you know , new Jeep and all ) i belive you could pull that one off. ::)
don't forget to take a photo and post it .
i guess "a 20 footer " means it looks good from 20 foot away ? na , it looks good up close by looking at your photos .
one thing you might want to think about , lock lug nuts .
your Jeep looks nice an clean , it will look even nicer up on the OBSTACLE COURSE . good luck and have fun . :D

Every night after work when I pull in I have to fight the urge to pull it up on that pile of rocks....maybe I should just pull it up once and snap a picture.
Funny you mention the wheel locks, when I put the new wheels on some of the lugs were so rounded off I could barely get a socket on them so I ordered lugs from amazon and the set came with a lock for each wheel. Didn't think much of the locks until I got the new tires on the wheels but then I was glad to have the locks.
Had some vehicle break ins on my street the other night, must have been looking for cash a few cars had their stuff thrown all over the interiors, they skipped the jeep for some reason....wasn't even a top on it at the time.

GPOTTS200 ,
SEE IF YOU HAVE A JEEP J-JUST
E-EMPTY
E-EVERY
P-POCKET
THE THIEVES KNOW YOU HAVE NO CASH LAYING AROUND .
A LITTLE SECRET I LEARNED LONG TIME AGO , A MAN WHOS TRUCK WAS BROKE IN TO TOLD ME " MY TRUCK WON'T GET BROKE IN TO BECAUSE IT ALREADY LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BEEN BROKE IN TO , STUFF THROWN ALL AROUND AND UNORGANIZED " . MAYBE IT WORKS , MAYBE NOT , TIME WILL TELL . IT MAY NOT LOOK ORGANIZED , BUT I KNOW WHATS WHERE , I THINK .
ok , now i see the locking lugnut , they blend in nice , key won't slip off easily. i guess you know not to use an impact wrench with the key / nut ?

No air compressor yet, but thank you for the heads up as I may not have thought of it. I may get a new air compressor to hold my valves in during a valve stem seal replacement project i need to do on the jeep.

Welcome.....I hope you came out and enjoyed the show
