How hard is it to install new body spacer ?
-
do you have the same size spacer in there already or are you talking installing a body lift?
-
As long as all the bolts come out it's a somewhat easy job to install a body life.
LUBRICATE THE BOLTS...LUBRICATE THE BOLTS...LUBRICATE THE BOLTS

You should be ok...Change out the body lift and see how things are. I doubt there will be a problem unless they are extremely long.
Remember that a shock absorber is to stop "UP" travel more than "down" travel.
Technically you could drive on the street if you had to without them. But, off-road if you flex "up" to a point the coil springs would fall out.

Rick I think I only have around 4 inches of the shock rod showing do you think that still be ok

Should be fine.

Ran across this video today. I'm about to install a 1" Daystar BL. This made it a lot less intimidating.
