PA Jeeps Club Events / Re: October Club Ride

Colli,

 :)Met at Rausch Oct 17th, also the day of the Built to Heal ride, so it was very busy. Weather was cold in the morning and warmed up to chilly. In attendance- The Dechristopers in their YJ Bus, Mort, Kevin and Holly Shane, Zach Poff, Hollywood and new member from the show Kevin and his son in the silver Rubi. Started the day green/blue in the older part of the park with some hill climbs and stopping to play on the rocks along the way. Mid-day the bravest soles did Crawl Daddy, which they swear "wasn't that bad". Thereafter was a delicious feast of sandwiches and lunchables. After noon there was a surprise sleet shower or 2. No major carnage, fun was had. Thanks be to Chris for guiding, we were never really too lost.

Big thanks to Chris for meeting Morton and myself for some loosely assembled May wheeling after the cancellation of the safety run. With only 3 of us, we covered a lot of varied trails, green blue and black. A great time was had by all. It was interesting to see the logging operations effect on the land, it was also very dry and dusty- it's obvious why all of burn bans are in place. It was a nice day at the park with no rain until the trip home. No major carnage, but I'm still a little sad about the loss of my marker light lens on Snakebite.

Thanks to trail boss for the October club ride. Because of a large event at the park, she obtained permission for us to do some exploring. After receiving a detailed map, of 4 lines drawn with a bic pen, we headed out. 7 rigs attended, no carnage that we are aware of and a nice day was had by all.
