okay first things first the complaint was a valid complaint the guys neighbors kids run their 125 cc db constantly (hours on end, nerve racking) the rest of it was bs but thankfully it was not taken lying down. the township was flooded with petitions, emails, phone calls, and the like and it was decided to kill the bill before it got anywhere its not completely dead the person who filed the complaint the township chairman and a spokesman for the people are going to see what can be done about the annoyance/noise law instaed of drafting a new uncalled for law. good to see a couple jeepers from us and rausch made it to this. there had to be over 100 concerned citizens packed into this little 30 x 30 room but everyone counts. and made the difference.

Thanks for letting us know what happened at the meeting, Hillbilly!  I hope that word of the public outrage at the proposal spreads far and wide after tonight.  Maybe then people will realize that there are a lot of socially-conscious wheelers out there who are going to stick together whenever situations like this arise in the future.

VICTORY......The ordanance was tossed out by the township supervisor after he received a ton of feedback from the people of Fairview township.
ther were so many ohv users present at the meeting that we couldn't all fit in the room.
the owner of the local grochery store spoke during the public comments, and said that the way that he handles problems with his neigbors is to talk to them directly, to try and reach a compromise that they can both live with. this was met with aplause from the crowd.
to resolve the issue the township supervisor is going to host a meeting with the three property owners involved in the original dispute to come to an agreement that will be agreeable to all partys..
i would like to thank Phil,Londus,Joe,Pricilla, and Paul for attending the meeting with me.

Way To Go EVERYONE...!

Sounds like the one that filed the complaint thought he could just slide it through with "his" position within the community.
This is EXACTALLY why there are "public" hearings held. Yes the complaint was made, yes the proposed ordinance/law was looked into......
People gathered and voiced their reasonable, common sence reasons against said ordinance/law and........SQUASH....!

Again, "Kudos" to all that attended.
