35" Tires and Rims
« on: March 19, 2010, 12:16:20 pm »
Just got a set of 35s and currently have 15x8 American Racing Steelies. Just getting opinions on whether I should get 15x10s or stay with the 15x8? I've got some time before I'm putting the 35s on, I need to lift the Jeep a bit more. I wanna wheel my Jeep on the 33s this summer and when winter rolls around go to a long arm kit and 35s.

They're 12.50 wide right, the same as ur 33's?  Mine r on 8" rim and I'd rather have them on 7". That way the rim's edge is tucked in a half inch more. JMO...

if there 12.5 wide id go with the 15x8, if their wider id go with 15x10, either way watch your backspacing so you dont rub.
build it, beat it, break it, fix it, repeat

if your using 15x7 or 15x8 go with a 4 in and up backspacing. that what is on mine. they don't rub at all mine are 33x12.5 the rears will hug under the flares. frts will be out alittle bit. thats my opinion.

a 15x8 will hold the bead on better than a 15x10, especially if u air ur tires down offroad.

Okay, thanks guys. They are 12.5 wide so I'll just stick with the 15x8s
