I recently had a transmission replaced and front drive shaft re-built at Pro-Trans in State College PA. They did excellent work (although a new transmission is never cheap
), and I felt like a valued customer. Before doing any work, they re-filled the trans. and tested it to make sure it required replacement. Dennis gave me a worst-case estimate and stayed within it. They understand what I did with the Jeep and made recommendations on a more optimum option based on off roading. They also had to fabricate some spacers to get my rear driveline angle right and did that a very good price. In addition to transmissions and drivelines they do engine work and other vehicle mechanical work. I'm going to have them install my NP-241 TC when I get it finished.
They even shared their holiday buffet with me while I was waiting for my driveshaft.
