2007 Jeep Jk Wrangler ?
« on: February 08, 2011, 12:18:04 pm »
Whats the easiest way of finding out what axle ratio is in the rears of my Jeep.  I wa stold they were 4.10 when I bought it,  but the more I read the more I wonder.  Came standard with 3.20's.  Is it in the VIN any where?  My manual say it was an option.  I dont wont to remove the diff cover if I dont have to.  Thanks!

There should be a metal tag bolted under two of the differential cover bolts that has the ratio stamped into it.
If not, refer to the link Adam supplied you.
