Wanted: Dana 53 locker/limited slip

Look for one in a Gladiator. Most of the lower GVW's (less than the J4000) were Dana 53's. That is where I got mine. Actually, I pulled both axles (closed knuckle D44 front / D53 rear with PowerLock) which got me 4.27 gears and removable / self-adjusting brake drums.
You can also try Walck's for a used unit. I think I got a replacement clutch pack from him (although that was a long time ago.)

This guy in Felton ran a CL ad about a year ago and he had 2 old Gladiators (Jeep gladiator truck parts - call with needs.717-873-1703)
