Just installed a Cobra 75 and a wilson ultra flex ant.  I also installed a accessory fuse block from the battery and mounted it under the dash to make it easier to power more accessories ;D

What a great day today to wrench on a Jeep! Low humidity and sunshine! ;D

Got an early start today and put new leaf springs, pivot pins and "C" shackles on the rear of the Willys. The bronze bushings were worn pretty bad on the originals, so it was a good thing I went ahead and ordered the rear springs when I did the front ones. For the first time since I've owned this Willys, it actually sits level! :o No more "jeep-lean!"  ;D Test drove her, re-torqued the U-bolts and she's good to go for the PA Jeeps Show!

Time to give another Jeep some attention...

I spent a few hours detailing the Jeep. I did the best I could to clean out the dirt caked into all the cracks and crevices and even managed to get a coat of wax on there. But how on earth can you get wheel wells to look clean? Anyone have any tricks for that? Anyway, I thought I should get it shined up for the show. Plus, Quadratec is coming to pick it up this week to pimp it out with stuff for their display!!

Went to the local auto garage that loves to work on American Muscle cars. And found my air cleaner for 5 bucks. I also removed the broken Oil Pressure gauge and installed a SunPro Water Temp Gauge. Later I will be removing the volt gauge, and replacing it with a SunPro Oil Pressure gauge. Then right above in the middle of the 2 gauges I will be drilling a hole for the SunPro Volt Gauge.

I also removed the broken clock, Im not sure what I will stick in its place. Maybe I will cut that whole section out, and stick Diamond plate there then drill holes for the Vin, and drill holes for my Winch and the Fog lights. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............................

I don't think George (the BEST Tranny guy ever!!!) is there anymore, but I believe he picked the men working there. They gotta be one of the best places around. They took great care of me years ago AND I wouldn't hesitate to go there again. Just thought I'd pass this along...
