When I clicked on that front bumper link, it said that it fits moderate tires sizes up to 31" ?!?  You sure your 33"s are gonna fit?!?

The only difference between that one and this rigidco.com/FbG.htm is the Reinforced Bumper Mounting System. The extra frame rail plating and support. Which I can order orrrrr should I have said... "The front bumper I'll be getting is this one rigidco.com/FbG.htm W/O the center-mounted 2x2 receiver".

   Is that better ?  :P

Â   Chip, did your Tie Rod have a "curve", or bend in it, like the Tie Rod for a ZJ?

     Tattoo 8)

Yes, it does have a bend in it.  I think it might be the one normally used on a ZJ, but it fits the TJ just fine.  Nice SOLID rod and big ends! And I still have my factory one as a spare.

I have the Skid Row Control arm skid plates and they do work fine for me.  I like them because they don't depend on the thin metal of the control arm bracket.  What I had welded yesterday was steel plate to the control arms themselves.  Hopefully that will reinforce them a bit.  I didn't want to spring for heavy duty replacements since I'm not sure what direction my future suspension upgrades are taking yet.

Spent a little time with Willys today finally took the engine out. Was going to remove the springs and axles. but than I wouldn't have anything to bring to the Willys show except for a bare frame.  Looks like I'll be doing some work on Jenn's YJ she let the smoke out of the winch today while she was wheel'n at snow shoe. She wasn't even pulling anything ,she was just putting the cable back on neatly and puff now it don't work   Dave

Replaced my stock front lower control arms with Rubicon Express ones.
Took alot of liquid wrench and muscle to break  those bolts.  Also discovered the right front was a bent. hmmmm

Dave and I fixed my winch when I came home from Snow Shoe.  He's the man it was only a bad ground wire! Thank goodness because I didn't want to replace any motors on it, I am saving for that locker for the 44's.

Yay Dave! Hand rolling the winch line did not look like fun.

Jenn, do you ever loan Dave out?
