Used the YJ like a 1/4 ton truck (heck, that's what they were originally...) to haul some concrete pavers home from Lowe's! (Gawd, I miss my Ram 1500, but with the seat out of the YJ, I can improvise! ;)

Well I scolded my Jeep today after the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) came on and never went off. Then I also realized that I'm missing my tag for Emissions and pondered at whether it was there when I bought the vehicle in the first place. Time to head off to the I/M station. Can't imagine I'll have any problems with a 4 year old 79k mile Jeep especially since it came with all the records showing its passed the past 4 years.

Then I got angry when a second warning light came on (Gas) Time to fill up.

Now I am looking for some tires I can afford in my price range to replace the crappy Wrangler ST's that come standard with the tires. I'll probly be posting a "For Sale OE Tires" soon...

Did you determine the code for the MIL...I just fixed a P0442 on my KJ after failing my inspection/emissions for bald tires (why it took 3 tries to get up the big hill at the PAJeeps show) and for the MIL light being on.  Turns out it was a rubber hose in the rear by the gas tank where 2 hard plastic tubes connect.  50 cent piece of rubber hose and it's fixed...order my new set of Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos and they get put on Sunday.
