allright the banging noise was getting annoying so despite the nasty cold i crawled underneath and found out that one of the quick disconnect bolts had fallen out , noise solved, now for the next noise...

discovered that the big pine tree out front that we park all 4 CJs under  blew down in the wind.    Damage includes knocking the mirror off the drivers side of the 1946 and nearly no damage to the 1974 or 1982  however my 1981 took the big hit.  To make it even better for me its due inspection in March.    The passenger side front fender, fender flare, side marker light and hood latch are mashed down around the front tire.  May need some chainsaw help, and need to find out what the insurance company is going to cover.

went to the bone yard today and picked up a couple more driveshafts and found an 85 cj tub there that we will be picking up monday, so the cj build goes on.

got a chainsaw and gas ready to go.

repaired a busted rear taillight on the '80 CJ , pulled it out of the garage and sprayed it off.  Did a little tire shopping for the TJ.

Good sign, Joe...there's an '80 CJ7 sitting in my backyard to make room for his "new" '95 YJ. He had no more room in his driveway, so I offered up my backyard as a storage area for the CJ until he decides what to do with it!

just installed new upper and lower ball joints on both sides of the xj. plus brakes and exhaust.

Received and installed my "back ordered"  fuel sender for the 1946.   Installed a new passenger side front fender, and fender flare, just need a new hood tie down and marker light and its all ready for inspection.  Got rid of the tree that fell on it in the first place.  Offroad light bracket on the PS also broke (though it does not show in the photos) and the DS mirror on the 1946 was busted off,  could have been a LOT worse.
