I've been thinking of these quadratec.com/products/92603_000.htm although they were only $160 when I was dreaming, er... I mean, thinking of getting them. Three things I like about these, 1) they "Lock" both the inside and outside Beads to the rim,  2) you can install them on just about ANY rim of your choosing (a big plus) and 3) they're street legal. Oh... I guess there's 4 reasons, they're a lot cheaper then the majority of BeadLock Rims.

Jack,
In many cases these are installed with a bead locking rim to secure the inner bead if issues arrise with the inner bead.
Breaking the inner bead can happen although it is quite rare since the pressure is applied against the outside locking ring.

Sorry Rick, I didn't mean it to sound like our usual combative correspondence, but as a "here's another option..." type of response.

Beadlock wheels have other advantages that justify their added expense, one is heavy duty construction made for extreme off-reading, although most of the weekend 'Roaders (who use their DD) don't see that. The Staun internal Beadlock fills that cap.

Beside... who doesn't love the way Walker Evans look.    ;D

Looks good!  A while ago, KM2s were on like a 6 month backorder.  Did you have to wait for yours, or were you just able to buy them now that they are in stock again?
