Lift Kit Question
« on: January 01, 2010, 08:52:27 am »
Alright, I already have a 2" lift on my Cherokee, I want to add another 2". So I will be getting blocks for the rear, and removing the 2" Spacer up front and adding a 4" spacer. My question is, will I have to extend my brake lines or do anything to the drive shaft, since Im going up to 4"?

Yes I will to which question? Just the brake lines? Or will I need to do something to the drive shaft?

Could you please help me out, by telling me what I have to do to them? I already know I have to extend the brake lines, tell me what I need to do to the drive shaft.

I found this on the net that says, to use a YJ yoke.

going 4" with blocks  ??? ???. with that much lift you need control arms, trac bar, brake lines, depending on what trans case maybe a slip yoke (good either way but not required), not too mention a real alignment  eric zappe has a book 84-01 cherokee buildup. find it and buy it, well worth the money.
build it, beat it, break it, fix it, repeat
