« on: July 22, 2010, 09:50:57 pm »
all right got a question for all. the motor in the submarine is starting to blow oil more profusly, profusilly profoosilly  anyway the blow by is really bad now. but i have a spare motor with very low mileage , (that i might as well put in while the original is still rebuildable ) ,but it has sat for about 2 years. any suggestions on prep work before installing like pull the distributor and prime the oil, replace the rear main seal while its out the jeep. any help like that, ive rebuilt alot of chevy and ford motors but didnt know if jeeps have a tweaker spot
build it, beat it, break it, fix it, repeat
A member of the church requests to be buried in his jeep because "It ain't never been in a hole it couldn't get out of."

Just do the typical stuff shoot some oil down the plug holes ,reseal all the difficult stuff, priming the oil system is not a bad idea. Good Luck with it.
