   By now, you've noticed that Jenn is the ONLY one to tease me about being towed home. There's a good reason for that.  >:D

   Thanks Jenn (aka Trail Boss) for guiding. GREAT trails, as usual.

    * THANKS CHRIS *
   for towing my Rig home (although maybe we should've watied till everyone went home  :-[ ), and for letting me drive ur TJ. (note to Chris, get rid of those nosiy tires  :o ) no wonder you trailer it. Had fun driving it though, and NO I'm not going over to the dark side, er... I mean, getting a TJ  :D

   PS: even got my spare back, on Sunday.    OK... the reason for trailering, broke my Panhard Bar, actually broke the (bolt) end off the Tie Rod End that attaches the Panhard Bar to the frame and ... the resulting movement of the front axle, side to side, while I tried to steer, caused the front DS to shear the bolts at the Double Cardon joint, Tranfer Case end. Which I couldn't driven back home, once the DS was removed, if that was the only problem, but not with the front axle moving side to side everytime I tried to steer  :o  Too Dangerous.

HOly COw Jack!!!  :o  What circumstances led up to that event?  At least you're OK!

I didn't know what a Panhard Bar was until I looked it up.  In my country, we call it a track bar

I'm glad that I talked Chris into going at the meeting... ;)

  ... in my country...

    ROFLMAO... obviously you don't watch "Extreme 4x4" on TV, Ian (from our northern neighbors) calls a Track Bar a "Panhard Bar". What caused it? Serious Black Trail riding, but it didn't occur during the hard stuff only on the way out. I'm thankful it broke there and not on a curve on a major highway.

   Yes, I'm glad you talked Chris into going, although I'm sure other members would've helped me get home.

   Rick,  it WAS an event! You would have thought that Chris had naked girls dancing on his trailer the way EVERYONE was getting out their cameras    ::)

  Although it was an unusual sight... an XJ not able to drive home after kicking some Butt on the trails that day   ;D

   Jenn and I were aceing all the obstacles ...   8)

I think Jack just wanted to be the center of attention or is envious that his wife has a new jeep and this is an excuse to get some up grades to the XJ so he can start running Red trails.

Your Welcome Jack. It is one of the reason for the trailor. I am glad EVERYONE got home okay. Naked dancing girls on the trailor. What on idea.........
Them noisy tires..... They sound so cool running next to the little bitty foreign cars with then stuppid loud mufflers. The noisy ties dround out the little bitty car mufflers.

Thanks Jenn. I had a great time and your were a super trail boss. Thanks everyone else for a fun day of riding. I had a great time.

And Angie, I NEVER need anyone to talk me into going on a trail ride. When are we going to see on the trail??????   ???
