Snow Tubing
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:07:03 pm »
Club Sponsored Snow Tubing is on Saturday February 25, 2012. At Avalanche Xpress in York.
2700 Mount Rose Ave. :: York, PA 17402 :: 877-782-9752

I will be there when they open at 9am. There will be hot coco, marshmallows, and hotdogs provided by the club as well. I will try to get the first fire ring for us closest to the lift. Come see me for tickets and to fill out the waiver. Pray for more snow and cold weather so they can make a good base!

This is a sponsored event, you must be a PAID PA JEEPS MEMBER to receive a free ticket to snow tube. Please post here if you will be able to make it, so i can get enough tickets for everyone.

I wonder how far a coffin would go when shoved down the hill?  Hopefully not mine, I'll be there again, as usual.

Wow what beautiful weather we are having!

Unfortunately that's not good weather for snow.

I called the tubing place and they do have 6 lanes running as of today, but we are supposed to have this weather and rain the rest of the week.

I will be calling Friday afternoon to make sure there are lanes open for Saturday. We may be snow tubing in t-shirts lol

BURRRRRRRR! Cold and windy day! We had a roaring fire though. We had about 15 members come out and do some tubing. Shared some stories by the fire, drank coco, roasted marshmallows and made hotdogs! Was a great day.

Now for those of you that didn't make it because it was too cold and windy I have some tickets left and am thinking of making another Saturday trip. it would be either a morning or an evening possibly next Saturday , if anyone is interested let me know. (post here or email me)
